About Matthew 25 coalition

Provides emergency financial assistance to people of Southwest Medina County. Provides assistance in mortgage payment, rent, utility bill payment and prescriptions. Client can only receive a maximum of $300 total per family in assistance. Will also provide hotel vouchers to transients in need of emergency shelter if funds are available.HOW SERVICE IS PROVIDED: On-site or by phone. Occasionally in the home.WHO QUALIFIES: No income restrictions. Need is based upon individual evaluations. Client must live in Chatham Twp., Lafayette Twp., York Twp., West Salem or be from the following zip codes: 44215, 44217, 44235, 44251, 44253, 44254, 44273 or 44275. Client must have exhausted all other available government assistance programs before receiving service.HOURS OF SERVICE: Voicemail available 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Most calls returned within 24 hours.FEES: Free.REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: NoneHOW TO ACCESS: Phone voicemail line 24 hours a day 7 days a week for service or appointment. Referrals are not required but can be helpful.SERVICE CONTACT PERSON: StaffSITE DESCRIPTION: Provides Southwest Medina County with emergency financial assistance including utilities bill payments, gasoline, and prescriptions. Can provide hotel vouchers for transients when funds are available. Appointments are held at participating locations and will be decided on ahead of time.TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS: Appointments made individually per client and meet at participating locations. Usually will have public transportation. Transportation can be provided in some cases when available.WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY: ALL services accessible or available. This site has an accessible restroom for most appointments.
