Through its Emergency Assistance, Active Aging and Homebound, and Legal AssistancePrograms, the Center works to assure the immediate survival of the low income and aging populations in midtown Kansas City; to prevent anyone from becoming or staying homeless; to minister to the physical, social and economic needs of the individuals in the area served; and, to seek long-range solutions to the problems of hunger and poverty.
