Provides emergency assistance, clothing assistance, rent assistance, holiday food assistance, and gifts to the poor. Yad Chessed Charity Fund helps needy people primarily in the Boston area. The Fund provides financial assistance in the form of grants, monthly food certificates, or loans. In the case of a grant, we do not give money directly to the individual, but instead will pay a bill on their behalf for such necessities as food, heat, rent, etc.
