Emergency assistance for rent and utilities depending on eligibility criteria. Eligibility: This assistance is generally only available one time a year for the individual or family. If the township s assistance has been used for three years consecutively, then that household is not eligible again for two years from the last date of service. Maximum Income Guidelines: 75% of poverty level. Referral Procedures: Phone for appointment. Limitations: If receiving cash assistance from another source such as TANF or SSI, the person may be ineligible for this program.
