This program provides assistance to low income Alachua County residents including primary medical care and limited pharmacy services for persons not eligible for other help, public transportation bus pass, burials, solid waste assessment waiver, emergency rent and utility assistance, in-patient hospitalization in out-of-county hospitals under the Health Care Act, county share of Medicaid payment for nursing home care and in-patient hospital care.
