Community mediation and conflict resolution agency serves Fairfield County and the criminal courts located in Bridgeport, Norwalk and Waterbury. Mediation services are offered for family conflicts such as visitation, parent-teen, and elder care; school discipline issues and early-stage PPT facilitation as well as conflict resolution training; juvenile criminal court and juvenile review boards, and other court based cases including adult criminal court and child protection cases; neighbor and property related disputes including noise, property line, traffic and construction issues from condo associations, neighbors and housing authorities as well as towns and police departments. DSC also administers the Dept. of Social Service, Eviction/Foreclosure Prevention Program (EFPP) at various sites in Greater Fairfield and Greater Bridgeport.Elegibility:Residents of lower Fairfield County who are experiencing a non-recurring, unexpected, documentable hardship; At risk of eviction or foreclosure; Must have income; Income must be at or below 60% of the State Median Income; Monthly rent/mortgage cannot exceed 60% of gross monthly income; Must be able to pay the next month s rent; Other restrictions may apply Hours of operation:M-F: 9am-3pm and by appointment *Residents of Greater Bridgeport (including Easton, Trumbull, Fairfield, Monroe and Stratford) - call for application and details, (203) 241-8557*Residents of Stamford/Greenwich (including Weston, Westport, Wilton, Darien and New Canaan) - call for application and details, (203) 241-3074
