Faith based, nonsectarian service organization offers a food pantry, furniture and household goods, used children s books, and limited emergency financial assistance for utility assistance, rent, and security deposits. Agency serves residents of New Canaan, Norwalk, Weston, Westport, and Wilton.Elegibility:Resident of New Canaan, Norwalk, Weston, Westport, Wilton who are in need Hours of operation:M-F: 9am-1pm By appointment only CCA serves a wide client base in the Norwalk area consisting largely of low-income seniors, the unemployed, the unemployable and the working poor. Seniors and children make up a majority of our client base. Christian Community Action provides food and furniture to Norwalk residents who are in need of emergency assistance. Christian Community Action also assists families and individuals who are in need of emergency financial aid with security deposits for renting apartment or for utilities expenses.
