This organization provides rent payment assistance for persons with AIDS/HIV. The HOPWA grant allows SCAP to provide a "One Stop Center" for our HIV/AIDS clients to alleviate and reduce stress risks endured by being referred from agency-to-agency. By maximizing client needs with a combination of Program and Support Services provided by the HOPWA grant, SCAP will be able to provide its clients with: Short-Term rent-Motel vouchers for shelter, emergency rent, assistance with mortgage payments, utility payments, and security deposits. Clients will also be provided with all relevant housing information, including: Housing Counseling, information services, referral services, and Fair Housing Act counseling.
