About Muslim Women In Action
Muslim Women in Action (MWIA) is the first Islamic organization organized by women in San Diego to address social issues affecting women and their families. MWIA was established in 1997 to stabilize women and families who found themselves victims of life transitions, and to educate the general public about Al Islam and Muslim women.
